To find a PDQ Care location from this Internet site, simply click on Find a Location, choose a state and review the list for the location nearest you. Double-click on the location’s name and address. To see a list of the services offered and their costs, click on the “Services” link. To view the location on a local map, select “Map.” If the location is in a mall, there is even a mall map showing its location within the mall. Click the “More Info” button to learn about the insurances accepted or to learn about the staff.
If you do not have access to the Internet, call (954) 341-9381 and a friendly operator will direct you to the nearest location and can even make a “same day” appointment for you, although appointments are not needed.
When you arrive, welcome signs will direct you as to how to begin your visit. You will be invited to check in at one of our check-in kiosks. Most information can be entered via our easy-to-use kiosk with a touch screen. If you are already enrolled, you will be asked to review and update personal information and to tell us a little bit about the reason for your visit. This information may also be entered from the convenience of your home though the “Patient Portal,” a totally secure link on PDQ Care’s Internet site (select “Patient Portal”). If you need assistance, see our friendly receptionist, who will be glad to help you.
If our Nurse Practitioner is with another patient, you may have a short wait (visits rarely take more than 15 minutes.) You can wait comfortably in our clinic waiting area, or shop in the mall until your turn arrives. For your convenience, you can take one of our “call devices” or arrange for us to call you on your cell phone when your turn arrives.
When you see the Nurse Practitioner, it will always be in a clean, private exam room. Our exam rooms are no different than the exam rooms you might see in your physician’s office. Your Nurse Practitioner will listen to your concerns and be focused totally on you. Our locations are highly automated, using electronic medical record systems instead of paper to record your encounter with us. Besides being paperless, this allows us to apply highly focused medical protocols to serve your needs. And since we have your medical history, the Nurse Practitioner can tailor your care specifically to your medical needs and your medical complaint at hand. Visits typically take 15 minutes or less.
If appropriate, the Nurse Practitioner can write a prescription which can usually be filled right at our office, or at any pharmacy you choose. For those with insurance, we even have your carrier’s formulary on hand so we can recommend the least costly way to fill your prescription. For those without health insurance or prescription benefits included in there health insurance policy, we offer prescription discount programs.
Upon completion of your visit with us, we can provide written medical information to help you learn about the complaint being treated, or about other medical conditions that may be of interest to you or another family member. This information can be provided in English or Spanish. Last, should you desire that a record of your visit be available to your primary care physician, we can provide it to you or make it available to your physician via our “Physician Portal.” Similar to the “Patient Portal,” all information is secure.
We accept most insurances as well as cash, checks or credit cards.
Your satisfaction is very important to us. Therefore, you will be asked to complete a short satisfaction survey upon the completion of your visit. We use these survey results to make sure your next visit to PDQ Care is even easier and more efficient.
